we will drive/travel around the baltic this fall. please give me recommendations on interesting/excellent restaurants in riga/tallinn--tartu/vilnius or any place else we might wander into.

I had a very good lunch at Sfaar (Mere puiestee 6E; sfaar.ee) in Tallinn this month. Really delcious wild boar patty and wonderful potato salad, as well as a terrific smoked whitefish starter. Estonian Virtu beer is so good. I also enjoyed the hot chocolate at Anneli Viik (Pikk 30; www.anneliviik.ee).

Hi I'll be going to Estonia probably Jan, Feb ish, just maybe a day in Tallinn then spending all my time in Tartu; I'm a vegetarian but will eat fish (grew up with herring) in a pinch as I know this will be tough. Any recs? I'd appreciate it so much.
