why no print format for recipes?

You have all these great recipes, but why is the print tab disabled? Shouldn't there be a way to simply print a recipe without all the comments and extraneous graphics? THANKS.

Hi pinotho,

The print button isn't disabled on my end. If you're on a recipe page, you can press the printer icon at the top of the page, which will bring you to a formatted version of the recipe. See screenshot for a picture of where the printer button is.

thanks Dave....I think there are eight icons at the top, and they all work except the print icon....hence my original question.

I just tried it and it worked for me. What happens when you press it? And what computer/browser are you using?

Since I maintain a Word recipe book, I like to copy and paste. I am saving myself time and some trees.

hi Dave.....I am using Microsoft Internet Explorer. I think it is version 7. Nothing happens when I press it. On all the other tabs, the tab highlights and the arrow turns into the thumb and I can press it. But the print tab will not highlight and is inoperable. Thanks for your help.

Looks like an odd quirk in Internet Explorer. The actual link to the print page doesn't line up with the printer icon in IE- for some reason, it's a little too high. We'll adjust this to behave normally as soon as we can.

As a work around until we do, please try clicking on the top 1/3 or the printer icon, or just slightly above the image.
