i haven't found great gyoza yet. nijiya has these packs of fatty ground pork which make for killer gyoza, though.

Had decent gyoza at Hakata Ramen in Gardena on Redondo Beach Blvd. near Gramercy. I can't remember if we had it at Shinsengumi Shabu Shabu on Artesia but they are related.

Are specifically looking for Japanese-style gyoza or any type of potsticker or dumpling? Yummy either way, I only ask because I can only recommend Chinese places; I never order gyoza at Japanese places.

I thought the shrimp gyoza at http://izakaya-ryozanpaku.com/ were quite good. Now this was back a while so hopefully they haven't gone south in the meanwhile.
