"Homemade" berry picking container

Cut the non-handle side out of the top of a gallon jug. A vinegar jug is sturdier than a milk jug. Use an old belt to loop through the handle. Now you can slip the belt around your neck and across your chest. Buckle belt to hang at desired height. Worked great for me.

    1. That sounds pretty handy; it would hold much more than what we do.
      - Poke two holes in the sides (near the top) of a coffee can and run a string through it. Cut a large hole in the plastic lid and snap that back on. A bit of a rim cuts down on spills. A spare uncut lid then serves to cap off the harvest in transit.
