Freezing pizza dough

Never sure. Freeze before or after rise in refrigerator? If after, do I let it rise again before using?

  1. I freeze before. Let it thaw in the frigdge overnight, move to room temp for a couple hours if it hasn't revived enough by morning.

    1. I like to do the rise in the refrigerator and then freeze. Thaw overnight in the fridge or on the counter until it comes up to room temp and you can work with it, I don't usually let it rise again.

Thank you both for your replies. I guess it doesn't matter. I have always frozen before allowing to rise but the last time, it didn't rise much. I probably didn't use it quickly enough. I am going to try freezing after a rise to see if I notice a difference.
