Blue Hills Diner in Randolph

Husband and I went last night for dinner-very nice! Service was well meaning but slightly amateur (not in a bad way, just in a need to learn the little details kind of a way). He had a lobster and scallop ravioli special and I had the fried chicken dinner. Fried chicken was quite good- a nice thin coating with good flavor. Mashed potato was tasty and husband enjoyed his pasta. Limited wine and beer menu-funny story to that. We asked what they had available and the server said, "Red or white". Not the winery or variety, just color. ;) Very clean, very affordable and a great choice if I want a meal in the neighborhood. I heard snippets of info from the staff and it does seem like most of the food is made from scratch- a rare thing now. I will try it again for lunch and see if it was as good a second time around. Any body else been there? Did I just think it was so good because I was so hungry?

Thanks, this place just came up in conversation. I've never heard of it but will give it a try.
