Thai with great condiment bar?

Hey, all.

I think I remember reading a thread here about a great Thai place in NW Austin with a super-full condiment bar (complete with spring rolls, soup, etc.). Anyone know what I may be thinking is the place?

Thai Spice has this. It's in the shopping center at 2244 and 360 with the LaMadeline and HEB. I think there is another location as well, but I can't remember where.

Maybe it wasn't Thai, but that's what's sticking.

I think Satay has (or had, as I haven't been there for some time) a nice condiment bar, as you describe, at lunch.

I love Thai and you had me curious as I thought I had hit all of the NW locations (with the exception of Spin Thai). Google pulled up Chang Thai around 35 & Parmer. They employ the same lunchtime soup/salad bar concept as Thai Cuisine.

spin is really good but not very "thai", and a bit pricey.
the sashimi salmon larb is deeeelicious.
if they have them, the soft shell crabs are also great.
the menu changes frequently so i would recommend checking out the facebook page if you do decide to hit them up.

Nope. Been there and this was someplace I hadn't been...drat. I KNEW I should have made note when I saw it. I lose more good finds this way.

Thanks for the offer, though, jwynne
