Kyo Ya kaiseki menu - drinks

For the 11-course ($150) kaiseki at Kyo Ya, I have seen many food pictures but haven't been able to find any information about drinks. Would there be pairing options, and if so, how much should one expect to spend? If no pairing is available, could someone comment on their sake and beer list please?
Thank you very much in advance.

  1. They will do a sake pairing, but I can't remember the price. It's an excellent sake list, though - top-notch. You could also probably give them a price limit for, say, two or three bottles to stretch through your meal, and they'd pick out a couple at appropriate price points.

I agree that the sake list is excellent, I prefer drinking sake with this food over wine. So I never looked to see if there are pairings. If they still have the sake from 300 yr old barrels or 300 year old something ( since barrels seems kind of old), I recommend that one. Forgive my memory lapse, but it has that in the description :"300 year,,,,,,,"
