Restaurant near Fairfield Inn and Suites

I am bringing a large group (40ish) by bus from Toronto (mostly women 50ish) and we are staying downtown at the Fairfield Inn and Suites.

Could you please suggest a place for dinner Friday evening - not to far from the hotel where we could go for casual dinner... we may not arrive until 7 or 8.

You want a place that will handle a group of 40 on a Friday night? You're staying in the heart of tourist territory on one on the busiest nights of the week. Quartino's can certainly accommodate a group that size, but you'll certainly need to make arrangements well in advance and I expect they'll set you up with a catering package, but give them a call and see what they say:

You MUST have reservations. BupodiBepo in Downtown Chicago is good for groups as they have lots of rooms with large tables. http://www.bucadibeppo.com/locations/default1305.aspx. Also, try any Lettuce Entertain You restaurants are great. http://www.leye.com/ and maybe with one phone call you can see who can seat such a large group They are used to private rooms, etc. We love WILDFIRE.
