Help me choose my wedding dinner location (in Victoria), please?
Hey Chowhounders of the Wet Coast!
I'm getting married in a month (totally relaxed about it, too - no, really!), but I need help in choosing the place where we'll host our very small reception/dinner. I was hoping that there might be opinions flying around here on whether we go to Heron Rock Bistro (http://www.heronrockbistro.ca/), or the Wild Saffron Bistro at Swan's (http://swanshotel.com/bistro/menu).
What's the food like at Heron Rock? Google+ isn't revealing much in the way of reviews - what's the word on the street? We've been quoted a $35/plate menu that seems in line with their regular dinner options...
My husband-to-be and I both have distant memories of having ordered nachos to go with our beer at Swan's pub after a show at the Macpherson Theatre, but neither of us have eaten at the Wild Saffron Bistro - what's it like?
Opinions? Raves? Disses? TELL ME EVERYTHING!

i've not been to Heron Rock but lots of reviews on Urban Spoon
did you look for other victoria restaurants on chowhound? Ulla seems popular.
we never really have enuf time when in Vic - so tend to go to our predictable haunts.
