Kansas City lunch catering?

  • 6

Looking for catering for a business lunch presentation for approx 10 people. Who does this best in KC? It should not be fancy, but good, creative and reliable. The meeting is in downtown KCMO
thanks!

  1. I've heard some good things about this place, although I've not had it myself.

We used them for a while and then stopped after a couple of bad meals. Very dry fried chicken.

    2. It's hard to find good/creative catering for 10 people as many of those companies have a minimum order.. for delivery especially.. However, you could try Ingredient (downtown location)?

      1. maybe call Happy Gillis, Magnolias, You Say Tomato - great, creative, downtown-ish lunch spots that might do lunch for 10.

        1. This suggestion won't be the most innovative, but they are good, reliable, and always popular.

Jason's Deli has a downtown location. They do catering for small groups and we love how easy it is to customize a group order. You set up a group account and give your participants a group code. then they go to the Jason's Deli Web site and place their order online, choosing from the full menu with all kinds of customization options. Then they put in their name and code and the whole order gets billed to the group owner. It gets delivered at the set time with each meal labeled.

So much better than trying to guess what kind of food everyone will like, and how many veggie options and how many people want sides or desserts or whatever.
