Anyone knows about the new Brazilian place that open in the Arboretum.

I wanted to go but would be very helpful if anyone would like to share the experience.

I heard they are expense but have all kinds of meats and salads… Is this restaurant good for kids? I have two kids 3 and 5yeas old.

What do you think? I appreciate all your suggestions. Thanks

  1. If you write in Portuguese, you might get more responses.

    1. Estancia Churiscaria(sp) used to be located on 290 and Brodie for a couple years. I have never been there but it's been discussed here before if you search by the restaurant name (I'm guessing at the spelling).

That place shut down, fyi. Now an Indian restaurant, IIRC.

They shut down that location after moving the entire restaurant to one of those restaurant spaces in the Arboretum, most of which have been cursed with ghosts of failed restaurants past.

I haven't been yet, but will probably make it there at some point. It's a lot more convenient for me to get to than Fogo de Chao. I'll report back if/when I do.

      2. It looks like kids 5 and under eat free. They do have an extensive salad bar with interesting stuff, not just iceberg lettuce and ranch. Keep in mind that all the main entree items are large chunks of meat, so you may spend all night cutting up steaks into kid-size bites.

On the other hand, the kids might enjoy the fully-costumed gauchos serving meats from long swords.

It's a little less expensive than Fogo, and we liked It, but thought Fogo was a little better.

        1. Wouldn't even be in my top 10 for young children
