Adobo Breakfast Sandwich and more - Redwood Empire Farmers Market (Santa Rosa)

I went by the farmers market Wednesday to get more stone fruit and strawberries.

One of the vendors had Blenheim apricots, but they weren't very ripe. Neufeld farms had fabulous ripe apricots (not Blenheim) as well as peaches, nectarines, plums and cherries. All tasted as if they had been picked ripe that morning. All for only $2.50/lb. I've found Neufeld farms to be consistently the best for stone fruit at this market. You can find them at both the Wednesday and Saturday markets. The fabulous apricots will only be available another week.

My discovery of the day was the Republic of Paradise food stand. http://www.republicofparadise.com I got an adobo sandwich with cheese and egg on ciabatta that was wonderful! I plan to try everything on the menu. They aren't regulars at the Wednesday market but you can find them at the Saturday market and the downtown Santa Rosa Farmers market Wednesday 5:00-8:30 PM http://wednesdaynightmarket.org and the Sonoma Valley of the Moon market on Tuesdays.

I stopped by the Republic of Paradise again a month or so ago . I had a really fresh tasting pancit with a combo topping of orange chicken and pork belly, garnished with yam chips. Really really tasty. To drink I had a very refreshing fresh lime and ginger soda, not to be missed!

Adobo breakfast sounds like my idea of paradise too. Please keep us posted as you "work" through the menu.
