Genwa Korean BBQ Expands

Genwa has added about 50% more space including a full bar and private dining rooms. And they did a good job in matching the design and materials to make it look like the new space had always been there.

Service is still very good, but the front dining room seems a little more cramped for some reason. Possibly due to a new emergency exit door being installed.

They still serve a ridiculous amount of banchan (20+), and it's high quality. The Courses are the way to go, as you get a variety of dishes in sizes that don't overwhelm you if ordered a'la carte. After a couple of misses at Park's this is our current fave for the crave for KBBQ.

    I go there for lunch quite often. I'm disappointed with the inconsistency with the soup dishes. The bibimbap is always great though. But after tax and tip, for almost $20 i want my soup to taste the way it was the few times it was outstanding, not the mediocre liquid it's been lately.

      I've been there twice with some office co-workers. We were all pleased.
