We went to the first obster tasting dinner tey did a few weeks ago, and the food as absolutely heavenly. The portions were perfect for our appetites, which are not small! Yo won't be disappointed.
The only quibble I had with them was the lack of documentation on the wine pairing, which we also purchased. The wines were fabulous, and definitely some sips I would not have chosen myself, but they weren't listed anywhere, so I had no idea what was coming. At the end of the meal to ask our server to write down the wines we tasted so I could purchase afew of them later. This didn't hamper my pleasure in a wonderful meal well excuted, but a restaurant of this caliber should demonstrate a little more sophistication and have that information readily available, especially on for specialty pairing for a specialty meal.

Here's the confusion. According to Foobooz, Miga is closed. Mica is open.

I wouldn't have known about it were it not for this post, but we went to Mica for the Lobster Tasting Menu and it was really good. I am a big fan of lobster; hubby could take it or leave it so he had something else. Presentations were really nice, all the ingredients were described, and I really enjoyed everything. The 4 course menu is listed on the website and costs $45. While none of the courses were huge, I thought the amount served was appropriate. I liked the second course - which included lobster in a silken type pasta the most. They have it for another 3 days. If you like lobster, you will definitely like this.
