popcorn recipe
Looking for a recipe to make my popcorn taste like kettlecorn.

Since we're talking about kettle corn, I made it once and the sugar burned and stuck to the bottom of my Farberware pot so bad I thought i had ruined the pot. I've made plenty of good popcorn in that pot, so it's not that the pot isn't heavy enough. I used a tablespoon of oil and shook the pot. Do any of you use more like in the Rachel Rae recipe?

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add popcorn and some sugar giving it a quick stir and then cover with lid. Once popcorn starts popping, pick it up and give it a quick shake every few seconds until popping slows down, between 3-4 minutes. Remove immediately from heat and pour into a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately. i dunno if this helps but they turn out Delicious... u can remove sugar if u dun like thay sweet and salty taste.
