Traveling through Northern Italy
Hello Foodie Friends - I'm traveling with my wife through northern Italy from August 18 - 31. We are in need of restaurant advice. We are open to all types of food at any price. Please see below where we'll be and some of the restaurants that were recommended to us.

2 - Camaiore, Italy. Restaurants recommended are: La Dogana, Ristorante Buonamico for fish in Viareggio, Trattoria marzocco in Pietrasanta, Trattoria Gatto Nero, Ristorante Imbuto, Osteria Vignaccio.
3 - Alba in Piedmont. Restaurants recommended are: Antine - Barbaresco, Piazza Duomo - Alba, Cambal - Torino, Antica Torre - Barbaresco, Il Bovio - La Morra - La Cantinetta - Barolo, Il Osteria del Vignaiolo - La Morra, Il Pozzo di Luna - Neive, Le Due Lanterne - Nizza Monferrato, Osteria del Diavolo Asti, Belbo del Bardon - San Marzano Olivetto, Mistral in Bazzana, Alla Locanda in Mombaruzzo, San Marco in Canelli, La Gallina at the Monterotondo di Gavi,
4 - Milan. No recommendations. NEED HELP! Day trips to Como will be made as well.
Not sure what sort of restaurants you’re seeking in Milan, but I would recommend each of the places where my wife and I had dinner while on vacation last month. I haven’t had the time to write a report yet, but check out Ristorante L’Assassino, Manna Ristorante, and Ristorante Damm-atrà. I would describe the food at L’Assassino and Manna as refined Milanese cuisine. Damm-atrà also serves Milanese cuisine, but it’s much more humble and traditional.
Are you going to Lake Como, or the city of Como?
