EASY WAY FOR FREEZING CORN ON THE COB
Supposedly blanching stops the enzyme action and makes it freeze better. I seem to vaguely recollect simply putting ears of corn in a big zip loc bag and freezing them. I just put a dozen ears in the freezer and followed the directions (out of character for me) from the "Center for Food Preservation" which said to blanch for 7 minutes and cool quickly and completely which I did in an ice bath.
Curious to hear what others have to say.
