Lobster sandwich lunch at Spring?

So DH and I will be in Paris for a few nights at the beginning of August. Unfortuantely, my initial restaurant list has dwindled in size due to August closures. Spring is open for the first day or 2 of our stay, so I thought that we could have lunch there the day we arrive. I got a reservation, but was told that they will only be serving a lobster lunch - sandwich, fries, ice cream, wine. Is this worth it for our first lunch? Most of the other restaurants I wanted to try will be closed, and the ones that are open I was hoping to save for dinners.
Thanks!!

Given the circumstances listed by you, the answer is yes, esp if Spring repeats the French fries fried in goose fat, which it did in its first lobster season.

I wonder if a gimmick ( no matter how good it is) that appeals to residents of Paris is a good choice for a visitor? I know August is tricky but the Paris by Mouth listings seemed to have plenty of good, more Parisian style places open in August.

    2. I heard great things about the lobster sandwich lunch at Spring. Definitely give it a try.
