Yes you read me correctly... Regent Park... bringing my date for some Thai food @ Sukhothai, but not sure where to go to after for drinks/desserts. Not much in this area huh? Anyone have any recommendations?

There's a nice patio in front of The House on Parliament's new location, about five blocks north. However it only has about five tables and is usually very busy.

Stout pub (on Carlton just west of Parliament) has a patio at the back (not the fanciest patio in town, but it is a patio). The Ben Wicks pub on Parliament south of Carlton has sort of a sunken patio at the front (not much view, but again, it is a patio). Stout also has a bunch of board games, so you can't really go wrong with that.

You could head east to The Dominion on Queen for drinks on the patio and live music indoors. You could head north to Plum on Carlton just west of Parliament for a good people watching patio. Further afield, there's of course F'Amelia in the Parliament and Wellesley area.

If you're willing to forgo the patio, you could add Weezie's at King & Power to your list. Sitting at the bar sharing one of the gorgeous desserts on offer there certainly can be romantic.

And you thought there wasn't much in the area. HA!
