July 4th Celebration in Toronto

Hey There.

So....my husband is American and I'm trying to be a good wife and find somewhere fun to go and celebrate his holiday. Somewhere fun and in the city. Any ideas out there? We know the restaurant scene pretty well but I'm drawing a blank on this one. Thanks!

      Harlem
      Duff's
      Ruth Chris
      Hard Rock Cafe
go to a baseball game - Royals vs Blue Jays
      Hooters

Our people have not contributed much to the local food scene.

Haha! A Baseball game and Hooters sounds like the quintessential American outing...love it. Thx!

Maybe your best best is to drive to Buffalo or NY or something?

Maybe Acadia or County General? I'd probably consider their menus the most "American" of the current fun/casual/hip restaurants in TO right now.
