Recs for 1 dim sum and 1 chinese seafood dinner downtown
Hi, will be in Toronto for a couple days and need recs for 1 dim sum lunch and a chinese seafood dinner in or around the downtown area.
I've read through most of the posts and am planning on lunch @ crown princess and dinner @ lai wah heen. I'm from Boston so we don't have restaurants like CP, Pearl or LWH so I'm looking to try something unique that offers a mix of luxury/good food. In regards to seafood, LWH's menu looks really interesting. Are there other restaurants that offer the same?
Should I hit up LWH for dim sum instead and another place for dinner? Thanks in advance.

Hit LWH for dim sum.
For seafood try New Sky, Lee Garden, or Taste of China. All three are very popular, informal, and specialize in live/fresh seafood.

If you will be in Toronto between July 6 and 22, consider the Summerlicious dim sum lunch at LWH:

re: T Long
Sorry T Long. I beg to differ!
Ref Summerlicious menu. Yes for value for money but NO to the Dim Sum choices.
IMHO, too restrictive! Since one can only have either ALL steamed crystal wrapper varietal, or ALL deep fried or ALL.....etc. Would be nice to try various style and preparation method! If no budget restriction, go a la carte!. OP will not get this type of calibre Dim Sum n Boston!-
re: Charles Yu
You have a point. But the OP didn't specify whether he/she was alone or with others. If alone, it would be difficult to have much variety in any scenario (assuming normal appetites of course). If with others they could share mix and match the menu. Anyway, just some info for an out-of-towner to consider....

re: Charles Yu
thanks for the recs and pointing out the summerlicious menu. i'll have a dc and preference would be to order a la carte.
It looks like LWH is the better choice for dim sum. However i looked at new sky, lee garden and taste of china and it doesn't look like any of them offer the unique dishes that are on LWH's dinner menu. Is LWH the only option for those type of dishes? I'd like to avoid dining at LWH twice.
