NYC --> Ferrisburg, VT -- Lunch stops?

Driving from Queens to Ferrisburg, VT in a couple of weeks.

Will be taking 87 straight up. Traveling with 3 kids (a few months shy of 4) so we'll need to stop somewhere for lunch about halfway in.

Any recommendations on along this corridor are appreciated.

Circus Cafe in Saratoga Springs, NY

Just a few minutes from I-87 in downtown Saratoga Springs, about halfway between NYC & Ferrisburgh, and I think both you and your kids would enjoy it. We've stopped there a couple of times on our trips along I-87 and always been pleased with food, service, etc.

You might want to post this on the NY State board, as you are more likely to find somewhere in NY to eat than western VT. Looks like the Albany area is about halfway.

For lunch with kids, I like the Albany Pump Station - lively and loud enough to mask the kids - and they have a space in the big dining room where they could "stretch out" without disturbing diners too much. Take 787 at the first Albany exit, and its right off of the highway. Continue north on 787 to 90 west (or rte 7) to get back to 87 north.
