Annisa or Public: Which reservation should I cancel?

Hi all,

I have a reservation for Annisa next Saturday and for Public next Sunday. In the interest of saving a few bucks, I think I'm going to cancel one of them. We will likely be doing the tasting menu at whichever restaurant we choose.

Thanks in advance.

  1. I'm more of a Public fan - I've actually been disappointed with Annisa of late. And as far as tastings go, the Sunday Supper at Public is a steal - $50 for five courses. If you're looking to save money, that's for sure the one to keep. Heck, it's cheap enough you could add an extra course or two and still come out under the cost of Annisa's.

    1. Ive done the tasting at annisa twice in the last year. if you do decide to stick with it, id recommend the 5 courses over the 7th - i didnt feel like the extra price was worth it (there was a fine cheese plate but nothing incredible, im not actually sure what the other extra dish was with the longer tasting at this point).

      1. They are very different restaurants. While the food at both is delicious, you're going to drop more money and have a finer dining experience at Annisa. We went a few weeks back, and everything was spot on. The veal with foie gras stuffed morels was incredible, some of the most tender meat I've ever tasted. It really depends on what the dining occasion is. For a special event, Annisa is the way to go.
