"Sure-Jell for Less or No Sugar Needed Recipes" - where?!
Local supermarkets seem to only carry gelatin. (It's a Kraft brand of pectin, by the way.)
Here's a pic:

Alternative brand suggestions welcome.
Thanks in advance, 'hounds.

I get all my canning supplies at Smart & Final. Pretty much the best prices going. As far as low or no sugar needed recipes. . . I put up about 20 cases of preserves a year and use pectin for only about 1/3 of them. Have you tried Pomona Universal Pectin? http://www.pomonapectin.com/ It allows you to jell fruit with NO sugar, if you chose. Check it out.
If you'd like some pectin-free recipes, I do Strawberry-Rhubarb, Blueberry, any number of Fig and Strawberry jams without pectin and would be happy to share (but as always, the Chow Police being what they are, I believe it will have to be on another board.) Good luck.

I needed some yesterday for a strawberry pie and found it at Vons in Glendale. I'll bet that most Von's or Ralph;s stores carry it.
