asian trade district area harry hines and royal
Greetings-
We are staying at the Omni at Park West next weekend. I know from past experience that the Asian Trade District is close. Any dining recommendations for this area? Lunch or dinner.

re: KeninWichita
It's been many years since I worked over there. The only ethnic place I remember is still there--Las Brisas. I loved that they still served Dr Pepper in the bottle (with a glass of ice).
If you want to try a steak place, you're close to Pappas Bros. there. Their Pappacito's is pretty good for Tex-Mex too.

re: foiegras
twin makes a good point ... I didn't explain Pappas Bros. D Magazine ranked it #1 steakhouse in Dallas last year, and it's my favorite steakhouse. Their lobster is also very good, and their soups tend to be excellent. I believe their house salad features bacon (they are no slouches with the red meat), and it is quite good. Their peanut butter chocolate cake is TDF.
I ate at Pappas BBQ only once, and maybe I chose badly ... my selection was very meh. Also tried their burger place only once, with similar results (don't recall if they have one of those on NW Hwy or not).
