Brunch in Baltimore
Hi Everyone,
My boyfriend will be flying into BWI to come visit me in a few weeks, so we decided to spent the night in Baltimore and check out the aquarium and a baseball game.
I already made a dinner reservation at Woodberry Kitchen, which I'm very excited to finally check out.
I would love to get recommendations on great brunch spots to check out on a Saturday morning. I'm not entirely sure where we are going to stay yet (any good hotel recs near the aquarium and near fun places to check out, including bars???). Looking for some place with perhaps some unique offerings. We won't have a car.

Though it has been a while since I visited (used to spend some time in Baltimore in 2005/6), The Golden West in Hampden used to be a weekend morning favorite. If it hasn't changed, I know you'll love it, Elyssa.

The best brunch/breakfast - to me - in Baltimore is tied with Blue Moon cafe and Miss Shirleys. I'm sure some people will flame me, but Ms Shirleys was amazing when I went with my husband (it's RIGHT across the street from the aquarium.
Blue Moon is more..."hipster" but it's unbelievable. It gets very packed, but is worth it. Incredible food - it's been a while since I've been there, but I can't imagine it isn't as good. If you get there early enough, it won't be bad. Miss Shirley's would be my second choice (Michael LOVED it)
I wouldn't spend any time (or money at $25 a person) at the aquarium, personally - was there when my husband deployed with another Marine family and it was a big disappointment. Check out Harbor East - lots of hotels and newer things to do/visit and not far from the aquarium if you go. Woodberry kitchen isn't near where you would be in Harbor East/Inner Harbor.
There is a new Kimpton in Baltimore that might be worth checking out (I love Kimptons). However, it's not an easy city to not have a car in (in my opinion).
Brewers Art gets high praise here for food and drink.
