Best virgin/non-alcoholic cocktails in Montreal?
We will be 3 very pregnant ladies going out for some terrasse time on Canada Day weekend (last minute, i know), ans we're looking for some fun virgin cocktails, ideally the kind with little umbrellas in them. Anyone have good tips? We were thinking Prince Arthur might have some, since it's already a little cheesy there ;)
Needs to be close to the metro, central (downtown, plateau, etc) and no places that would have us line up for over 10 minutes (ie jardin nelson). Remember, we're very pregnant!

I am probably too late but the SAQ has a dealcholized wine called Vino Zero. Of course it is not on par with regular wine but it is quite refreshing and if you have other occassions you might like to try it.
I do not drink any alcohol at all so any restaurant that can make a cocktail can convert it to a non alcohol version. Just ask.
Sometimes I take a fruit punch, mix it with Fresca or Seven Up, add fruit and it can replace a Sangria. Those who drink must be saying UGH but when you don't drink alcohol it is nice to have something refreshing and a little different from Sparkling water. Have fun and Happy Canada Day.›2 Replies-

I agree people get befuddled if you are in a SAQ and ask for product. It is a really nice alternative to the zero alcohol wines offered in health food stores, it almost tastes like a real white wine. Don't give up, ask the store manager to order for you, the SAQ should be willing to do this for you.

You could try the terrasse at the back of "Aux Vivres" (vegan spot on St-Laurent) or the big garden terrasse of Santropol (st-urbain st), both are somewhat far from a metro.
(just to add, that they might not serve "cocktail', but good fruit juices and stuff like that).
Other than that, I don't have a clue.
