hi...am going for a sushi dinner for 2 at Ushiwakamaru (Houston St/Sullivan) on the late side tonight, and want to meet my friend for a nice summery cocktail in that general area around 8pm...i figure Pegu Club will be too crowded...looking for somewhere charming and mellow without a wait...thanks!...

the Thompson Hotel has a nice bar. The Mermaid will be packed. Pera on Sullivan St, is no hot spot but have a nice outside seating area. Merc Bar used to be a cool spot. Hmmm maybe DBGB,I have to admit, its not my expertise
