Is there a for sale/swap board here?
I couldn't find one. In some threads I read things like "I bought a xxx and never use it" and such. Is there a place here for people to buy, sell or trade?

No. While we understand why you'd want to connect with fellow chowhounds for that kind of transaction, our site really isn't set up properly to support one-on-one sales and trades. We don't have any kind of private messaging, or ways to track good vs. bad transactions, etc.

Thank you Overlords of Chowhound for recognizing that this aspect of the site is one of the things that makes it unique and valuable - that you can discuss different products without the agenda (whether hidden or open) of somebody who's trying to make a sale. Nothing wrong with buying and selling of course but I like that we can talk about stuff independent of that here.
