What is replacing Fuddruckers in New Brunswick?

I heard a while ago that an Asian restaurant is replacing the Fuddruckers on Route 1. Lots of construction going on now. It seems big enough to be a PF Changs (although I've never been to one so can't say for sure.) Any ideas?

The owner of the prior Fuddruckers has a few Hooter's locations under his umbrella...... in Paramus, he just opened a place called Dos Cubanos.

I say this assuming he still holds the leases on both locations.....and not having passed by the new construction in NB

Today I drove by the former Big Ed's BBQ on rt. 130 in South Brunswick. A sign indicates that a diner will open at the location.

old Fuddruckers location is going to be an Asian place according to a worker when i stopped there last week. He did not know much info as he was a foreigner with limited English and his boss was gone for the day but he did say an Asian restaurant.

So far the building is painted a solid brown in a shade that looks consistent with a PF Chang's.

I think the wooden facade that just went up on the exterior rules out PF Chang's, I don't think that is their style.

Great facade, cool statue next to the entrance, and named after a classic rock album I like. The food has to be great.

I thought there was some guy who was buying it & wanted to put a restaurant called Buck Foston there, but the New Brunswick council was giving him a hard time about it. I could be wrong about the location, but I seem to remember reading in the local papers that it was the old Fuddruckers location.

That would be the old Bennigans across the street next to the car wash. According to the real estate signs, the Fuddruckers location was leased and the Bennigans sold.

Yeah, like the name Fuddrucker's is so much more refined than Buck Foston. :-)
