Where can I find great Huevos Rancheros?

I am in a hunt for huevos rancheros. I don't want hard boiled sunny side up eggs as most places do these days, and sunny side up eggs with salsa on top wont' cut it either. Ranchero sauce is the key here. Any good recommendations on the Westside? Perhaps the greater LA area?

I did a search and 12 topics showed up, none of them directly on my topic (some posters had mentioned the term in passing, but none of the previous posts related to this topic). After reading your reply, I do now that the term has been the topic of "related discussions" however, none of these showed up when I did a search.

I still think that El Tepeyac has really tasty huevos r's...have you tried them at Loteria Grill? On the west side I would recommend Tacos Por Favor

        2. Best I've had were a Cafe Verde, in Pasadena. Worth a special trip.

            1. The very best Huevos I've found in LA is at Ford's Filling Station in Culver City. They offer it on the Sunday brunch menu - I don't know if it's available during the week. The sauce is excellent!
