California Kabab in PB

pagesinthesun Jun 28, 2012 05:39 PM

Today was my first taste of California Kabab. I can't wait to go back! We went for lunch today. The first thing you will notice is no branding of any ingredient or product in the place. Only brewery beers, homemade sauces, eclectic soda fountain in this place. When you see the brewer only beer selection you will be happy. When you taste the food you will be ecstatic! We had a chicken doner, fries, chicken and veggie skewers. Everything was super flavorful and tender and juicy. Fries were spicy and crispy. Only homemade sauces....no Heinz. Yet the ketchup is delicious!
All this said......wait....the staff and the ambiance make the experience even better!

Go now!

I hope they get their brewery equipment fired up soon.

Me too. It is already a great spot - if the get their own beer flowing and it is good, they may well become my go-to place in PB.

They told us brewing to begin by the end of July!

We just tried CA Kabab last weekend and were equally impressed. I loved their fries and my 6-year old couldn't get enough of that ketchup. We heard same story about their nanobrewery opening soon. Meantime, my kids will be happy with their sodas and we will be content with the craft beers on tap!
