Saved Boards?

I guess I could live with the new menus if I could save boards. I never bothered with saving boards before because the old menus were so easy. Now I need to save boards - but unless I'm missing something there is NO WAY to save boards any more! Am I , in fact, missing something?

i don't know if i'm the only one who feels this way, but this new configuration has me spending A LOT less time on the site. it's just such a PITA to have to keep flipping back.

I agree. I'm only interested in New York boards so must I go to "All Boards". Please make a change to keep things simple...........Thanks.

Just wanted to clarify here that you do not need to go to "All Boards" - if you have the New York State board saved, then you can access it directly from the Chowhound Discussions dropdown, accessible from any page on the entire site. Just hover your mouse over "Chowhound Discussions" and it will appear in the right column.

FWIW - since I started this thread. I have put up 9 saved boards and when I stick the cursor over chowhound discussions they all appear in the dropdown menu. I'm thinking that is about easy as it can get - now that I know how to save boards.

Let me add my vote: HATE the removal of my saved boards! Awkward to use, takes too many clicks. This is NOT an improvement.

Don't understand this change anyway since it actually involves more clicking and more going back and forth than the previous system. It's not hard to figure out or anything but definitely more awkward.

Saved Board used to always appear at the top. Now I have to take the extra step of opening Chowhound Discussions.

Not a helpful change... unless there is a way to get it back?

I just figured it out. Go to the board you want to save. There's a star beside the name of the board that you click on to save. It should turn yellow.

You're welcome! Now, if I can just find the last topic I made comments to (Spoon Korean Brunch [Berkeley]) on the Board (San Francisco Bay Area) it was in. I can find it under My Recent Threads, but when I go to the Board itself, it doesn't show at all.
