report from my barcelona triop
as i promise, im back home i reporting back to all the chows, specialy on th tickets subject
but first where we eat.
we had more than a couple of lunch in one of our favorite tapa places the CERVECERIA CATALANA, still amazing, greta vale and great food, will be back some day
dinner at comerc 24, amazing we had a very good dinner, probably one of the best in our trip, good, fun forward thinking , food, great service and not to stiff place, 100% would recommend it.
cal pep, not the first time, so it was a bit of a let down, it wasent has good as always, food didnot shine as always, the chef seem a little woren down, still good but not as before
alkimia, food ok, nothing spectacular, services so so, very slow and clumsy, i think comerc is far better, alkimia for us was a little of a let down,
paco meralgo, amazing high end tapas place, highly recommended, good food good service, good price, cant get better than that.
in one of my lates post i ask if soebody new about the urban legend that their is always a table in tickets for walk in, and a couple ask me to come back with and answer, unfourtunatly i can,
i was lucky enough to get a reservation trough a friend of a friend that works there, what i can tell is that when i got there, there was a line for people waiting to enter without reservation, with this beeing said, i dont know if they got in or how long they waited.
great place, very good food, cover expectations but did not got over the top, maybe we where hopping for something bigger (never got to go to elbulli, so we thought that we would get a sneak pick of what it was), but it is def a must, it was a lot of fun to go, dishes are very playfull and ambiance is very relax...............
hope this helps
good eating to all.............
