Napa/Sonoma Monday Openings (Wineries and Restaurants)

Hi,

I am visiting the bay area in August following a drive down from Portland. Am likely to pass through either Sonoma or Napa on the way to San Francisco and then head back up to the other one before flying back to the UK. The return visit will be a Monday and I was hoping for some insight, or a general idea, as to what opening hours are likely to be on a Monday, are restaurants/wineries going to be open/limited openings etc?

You'll be fine. It will take some research (yelp can be helpful on this front), but enough wineries and restaurants will be open or can take an appointment to fill one day. There are hundreds of wineries in those areas.
