new chef de cuisine at La Mer

Just read a post that the new chef de cuisine at La Mer will be Alexandre Trancher, formerly sous chef at the Paris La Tour d'Argent and executive chef at La Tour d'Argent at the New Otani Tokyo.

  1. I look forward to his arrival with an open mind. When does he start dishing out the vittles?

    1. I heard about this a bit ago, sounds most interesting. I hear the bar at La Mer has a whole new cocktail concept focusing on the 1920's classics and each cocktail is paired with an amuse.
