I looked this up and prior threads are old so I'd like to hear recent experiences and thoughts.

Has anyone tried Dish or, private lessons w a personal chef from The Chef Alliance?

I've been taking culinary con ed classes through George Brown for the last two years or so and my abilities and technique have improved immensely.

Flexible times, interesting classes, skilled teachers and interaction with other people who are just as interested in cooking as you are: it's a real win all-around.

I completely agree with this. I took the Culinary Arts 1 course and I loved it. The teacher was insightful, funny, and incredibly helpful. I went with a group of people but the other students were very similar to us. All eager to learn, friendly, and good people all around. I really like how I still use all the skills I've learned months later. The location is great .. Yorkville and it's conveniently located on the TTC subway route.
