Baton Rouge

Suggestions for good local eats in Baton Rouge? Casual, for dinner. $20 and under per person.

Cordon Rouge Bistro! They have a lovely courtyard and the lights in the trees make it sooo romantic. The menu is quasi-French and the weekly special is always good. All the produce is from the farmers market and very fresh.

Chimes is great. Other good ones include Portobello's, Mason's, Acme Oyster House,... what part of town will you be in? (eta - just saw how old thread is - might be too late to help!)

Any comments on Louie's near LSU?? Looks like a good dive, and cheap.
