Lunch ideas between Nanaimo & Buckley Bay
Hello,
Heading from Nanaimo (after taking ferry from Vancouver) and cycling to Buckley Bay. Looking for some suggestions on where to stop for lunch. Thinking somewhere around Parksville/Qualicum. Any suggestions? And since we are cycling nothing too, too, far out of the way. We will be taking the seaside route.

The best lunch I've found in Parksville is the Rod & Gun Club-recommended by someone on this board in fact.
It's been two years since I've been though and it was just standard pub fare-with all the standards from Sysco & Gordon Food Services on offer.
I see from the web site that they're re-incarnated-in any case the patio is lovely.
