Recommendations for Oshawa area

I've heard not bad things about Hot Rocks? To be honest, at least in my experience/opinion, if you're looking for a really good meal, I'd advise you to drive to Toronto. There are some decent places in the area but nothing that I'd call memorable.

they have a fine dining place across the OC called Fazio's I think. I heard it's pretty good, but if I could afford it I wouldn't be living in the shwa.
