Suggestions:Ground Wagyu

Yes I came into a pound of ground american wagyu. Problem: I have no idea what to do with it.

I'm not inclined to make burgers with it as really it will be just me eating it. What can I do?

    1. Split it into portions you will use by yourself, and freeze the rest. If you don't want to cook some, do a tartare with the fresh stuff, not the frozen portions. You can also make individual sized meat loaves, then just bake what you want, freeze the rest.

      1. Form into patties and freeze. Cook the patties (still frozen) as needed. Cooking ground wagyu from the frozen state prevents all of that delicious fat from escaping.

          This would be my recommendation as well.

            Using pre ground beef for a tartare is less than ideal from a food safety standpoint.

          2. Grinding wagyu-style beef is just wrong.
