Buffalo Stew or Elk Stew I25 Corridor Wyoming or within a 90 minute radius of Denver?

I'll be in Denver as well as traveling up the I25 corridor through Wyoming possibly up to Sheridan.
I was waiting to enjoy a good bowl of Elk Stew at the 1893 Grille and Spirits in Sheridan and found out it's no longer on the menu!

Looking for a traditional "Old West" style place. Even touristy would do.

Thanks!

Huh, thinking about it and the only place I ever get buffalo or elk stew is at Two Elk Lodge at Vail ski resort during the winter. Hopefully someone else will pipe in.

Thanks, does Two Elk Lodge have a web site? I tried to google them but couldn't find one.

It's part of Vail Resort so they don't have their own site. It's a ski lodge and isn't open in the summer and only accessible on skis/snowboards in the winter.

For Real West non commercial , Stuffed Animals on the walls all over the place, Antlers everywhere, You must go to Bunkhouse Bar and Grill on Happy Jack Rd. in Cheyenne wy.Chef Joe is the new Chef and it will be good.
For Buffalo and a enteresting turist stop there is Terry Bison Ranch right on the Colorado and Wy boarder on I-25 . You can ride a home made train around the ranch and feed the bison out of the train. New Chef from California , Chef James is really turning this place around..TRULY I don't know if they will have the stew.

Funny you should mention that, I was thinking of checking the Bunkhouse Bar and Grill at night to check out the live country bands.

I had heard of Terry Bison Ranch, and the reviews were kind of iffy, however a few of the reviews seemed "troll like" most likely a disgruntled ex- employee. But I'm glad to hear they're back on track.

        Thanks!

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I figured that this area of the country, famous for local game would have a plethora of place.
