can a SubZero be resealed?

We just moved into an 18-yr-old house with a SubZero the same age, and when the ice cream melted and dripped onto the floor, discovered that the rubber seal around the freezer door is warped and it won't hold temperature. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? By a regular appliance person, or do I need to call SubZero? TIA!

It's a fairly easy DIY project:

If you don't want to do it on your own any appliance repair person can do it. Probably easiest if you order the part and they install because they likely won't have it in stock. We had a similar problem and it was easily resolved.

Give the model number to one of the links above and they will tell you if the rubber seal is available and at what cost. If available, you can easily install yourself without calling a repairman.
