Anyone eaten at the Swag near Waynesville?
I'd like to enjoy that view for a while, as well as the altitude with these 100 degree days coming. WAY too expensive to stay the night but brunch or dinner seems doable. Although I'm going for the view, I don't want the food to out-and-out suck.
Somebody posted on their Facebook page that the food was better than Grove Park and Ruth's Chris. Holy Cow...they couldn't have picked two places with stronger reps for mediocre(at best) food at high prices.

Yes, the view is spectacular. The food is very good. The prices are ungodly high. I did love it though!
When I was in Waynesville area I did find a great place to eat that I highly recommend. It is in Maggie Valley, Nutmeg. Don't know the address but it is on the main road in Maggie Hwy 19. Great food, warm friendly place, large dining room, beautiful place.
