The sand and sunset

Looking for places to have a early dinner. Close to the beach where I could walk off the food and drinks and catch the sunset. Single, casual, just want to relax ,eat ,and drink. Thurs the 5th. From Santa Monica to Hermosa beach. Not particular.

The Strand is another Manhattan Beach place that has a killer view, right on the sand. I think MB Post has an edge on the food, though.
