Due to a substantial rent increase, Cafe' Lia in Cranford will close on or about July 15. The owners are reportedly looking at other sites, but it's not certain they'll stay in Cranford. If you haven't tried this place, do yourself a favor and go while you still can.

That's too bad. However, across the street is Trattoria Bel Paese which we really like. More reasonably priced than Cafe Lia and also byob. Just another option for people looking for an Italian food fix.

That's a shame...that place opened up and looked like it had been there forever. Great food too.
