ghost pepper burgers at red robin
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06...
"The Fiery Ghost style contains a ghost pepper sauce, fried jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. The Cry Baby style, features crispy onions straws tossed in sriracha dry seasoning with more onions sauteed in Cholula hot sauce, plus jack cheese and ghost pepper ketchup."
has anyone tried either one and can report back? they sound tasty, but i doubt its as spicy as the ingredients would you lead you to believe.

Well, I have pretty good news. We went to Red Robin today. I opted for the Cry Baby style Tavern burger. I forgot to tell the server how to cook my burger, so it was, for me, overcooked -- not their fault, of course -- but it did indeed pack quite a punch. Didn't make me cry, but it did make me say, wow. This thing has some real heat!
So, Red Robin actually has something for chileheads. The fact that this burger actually made it onto the menu is quite impressive. Try to find something with heat at, say, Chili's.

hadn't heard of these, hoping someone posts a review. DH loves spice, loves burgers. If they are REALLY hot, we may have to visit RR. :)

re: jujuthomas
No, not really hot. A low medium I'd say. It you're a heat freak you'll be disappointed, but then mass-market food never has real heat.
The ghost-pepper ketchup is a real star, though, I told them they should keep it when the ghost-pepper promo ends. They probably didn't even bother to write down what I said.
