Burger King's sweet potato fries - big thumbs up!

I was all set to try the lunch buffet at a new Indian place today but turns out it's closed Mondays.
Without enough time to go far afield, I went to BK for an ordinary whopper and tried the new fries.
I had to wait a couple of minutes for them to come out of the fryalator, so what I got was of optimum crispiness. Soggy fries are a bane of the sweet spud, unless they are cut as thin as shiestring fries, which these were. They are the best of the many renditions of sweet potato fries that I have eaten.
I hope they become a permanent menu item.

Not overly fond of BK's regular fries, but the sweet potato fries are a winner. Apparently a 'temporary' menu item.

      appreciate the info.

we stopped going to BK years ago.
it had gone way downhill and all were disappointed.

iL Divo, here's a sad explanation of what BK turned into

Near my home there is a McDonalds and across the street a BK. this morning as I drove to work McD's had a full lot and about 7 cars at the drive thru. BK had two cars in the lot and none at the drive thru. This is pretty typical at all hours of the day. I know the last time I had BK was at the Las Vegas airport because it was near our terminal. It wasn't very good and it reminded me why I don't go there. And I didn't order the fires as I despise them.

mmm...saw the poster for those the other day and wondered if they were worth a try.
