Au Bon Aceuil - Still all downhill?

I am going to Paris with five friends for an overnight escape from the Olympics in London (it will still be July). We used to love Au Bon Aceuil but haven't been in about three years and I'm worried by the bad reviews as it seems to have new, and not good, ownership. Anyone have first hand recent experience? Other recommendations for not overly fussy, good spot (like this was in the "olden" days!) Thanks!
